Meet The Maker

From the beginning, Toni had a passion for cosmetics and obtained her Esthetician License while still in high school. After high school she attended college where she studied biology and chemistry.  While she was in college she utilized her esthetics license to work in salons, spas and for some of the most well known cosmetic companies.

Once she completed her Master's Degree, she put her esthetics on hold in order to work as a researcher for the Medical School in San Antonio, TX.  After several years she realized working in that capacity was not her passion and went back to the beauty industry.

Brand History

Fast forward to October 2019, Bluebird was born out of a necessity to provide a natural option for Toni's beloved pup Duke.  Duke was suffering from severe skin issues and everything the veterinarian was prescribing didn't work. She wanted to provide Duke with some relief so she began to research anything she could as a natural option.  It was during this research that she came across cold-process soap making which immediately struck her interest.  She began to formulate a recipe packed with ingredients that would cleanse and alleviate Duke’s irritated skin.  When she finally made the first batch of natural dog shampoo, it was time to see if it would help Duke’s red, inflamed and dry skin.  Almost immediately the redness began to subside and there was finally some hope for him. This was her Eureka moment! Toni immediately researched once again, but this time to start formulating natural bath and body products for people.

Bluebird became official in January of 2020, when she started to sell products via local markets in the Katy area.  It wasn’t long after selling in markets that connections were made and Bluebird was being carried at a floral shop in Groves, Texas, in the Heights at the Whimsy Artisan and in a local Katy coffee shop, Serene Beans.

For the past 3 years Bluebird has had many milestones and continues branch out with new products and markets.  Currently, Bluebird is being carried at the Whimsy Artisan in the Heights and at Intuitive Insights in Rosenberg.
